Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve proficiency in various production tasks such as electrical wiring, plumbing (metal and PVC), fabrication, subassembly, assembly, and quality analysis, while consistently upholding quality standards.
  • Analyze Production Reference Materials to identify discrepancies, including errors or necessary materials.
  • Assist the Production Team in all safety training initiatives.
  • Recognize and report any safety hazards present in the work environment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized personal workspace.
  • Participate in shop cleanliness and organization efforts.
  • Engage in Inventory Assessments as required.
  • Comply with all efficiency and quality protocols and procedures.
  • Identify and communicate needs for tools and safety equipment within the shop.
  • Oversee the inventory management of tools and personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain records of performance indicators and other necessary documentation.
  • Utilize the computer system to manage shop documentation and reference material requirements.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned to the Production Technician role during employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the production of water treatment systems, including reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, and softeners.
  • Familiarity with common shop machinery, including mills and lathes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and knowledge of the 5S methodology.
