As a key member of the Owens & Minor team, the Distribution Equipment Operator plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth receipt and processing of goods. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Unload pallets and cases from inbound trailers and/or containers manually and/or using Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as manual pallet jack, motorized pallet jack, sit-down or stand-up forklift, and standing reach truck.
  • Accurately count and verify the receipt of goods, ensuring that all items are accounted for and in good condition.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless processing and distribution of goods.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
