Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Network Automation Specialist to join our Enterprise Technology team. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and tools to automate network design, deployment, and operational management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation frameworks and tools to automate network design, deployment, and operational management processes.
- Work closely with network and security engineers to translate network security requirements into automated workflows.
- Develop and maintain network device templates and configurations.
- Implement and manage network automation solutions using tools such as Ansible and Python.
- Integrate automation tools with other systems for monitoring and configuration control.
- Code review, testing, and validation of automation scripts and tools to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and network operations.
- Conduct training sessions and documentation to upskill staff in the use of network automation tools and best practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of recent and continuous experience at minimum of a mid-level network engineer.
- 3+ years coding, scripting for complex networking environments.
- 3+ years demonstratable experience with tooling, orchestration, and automation in a Linux environment (Python, Ansible).
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with networking cloud and on-premises based infrastructure.
- Familiarity with the Juniper networking platform (JNCIS-DevOps a plus).
- Familiarity with the Palo Alto security platform.
- Experience in aerospace, corporate, industrial and manufacturing environments.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $148,591.50-$208,028.10, depending on location. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
