This role is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a clinic setting, adhering to CHI Franciscan Health standards and Franciscan Medical Group Scope of Practice policy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to clinic patients, including assessing, coordinating, triaging, evaluating, and delegating work to the patient care team.
- Implement appropriate nursing interventions for optimal patient care, providing education and consultation with patients, families, physicians, and other staff members.
- Work under standards of safety and care, taking care of issues and patient needs in the absence of a physician/provider.
- Apply judgment and critical thinking skills in making decisions regarding patient care, utilizing available standards, resources, and data.
- Efficiently utilize staff and resources, ensuring quality care and patient satisfaction.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing approved by the WA State Board of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
- One year clinic RN experience or 2 years of acute care experience preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification.
- If assigned to the Float Pool, current driver's license and ability to drive to assigned location(s).
