Nurse Float Team Specialist

The Float RN must adapt to all inpatient acute units and build relationships quickly with patients, coworkers, and physicians.
This Registered Nurse job provides a wide variety of professional nursing services, focusing on quality patient care consistent with Franciscan Health System standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and assessing the patient plan of care during their stay, in collaboration with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and the patient/family.
An incumbent is engaged in direct patient care, including assessing, planning, coordinating, evaluating, and delegating work to members of the patient care team, and providing education and consultation with patients, families, physicians, and other staff members.
Qualifications- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing, BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum 6 months previous RN experience required.
- One year of related work experience (ED or critical care) in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Current American Heart Association ACLS (1 month grace period if expired).
- Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) within twelve months of date of hire, certification must be maintained as current thereafter.
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC) OR Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within twelve months of date of hire, certification(s) must be maintained as current thereafter.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and/or Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification is preferred.
- CCRN/Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) preferred.
Pay Range: $71.67/hour
