The University of Pittsburgh Medical Center's Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time faculty member at any rank to join our team of neuroradiologists. As an academic neuroradiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting neuroradiology examinations, teaching and mentoring residents and fellows, and contributing to the department's research efforts.

About the Position

This is a full-time faculty position with a mix of clinical, teaching, and academic responsibilities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in neuroradiology and a commitment to academic excellence. The position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret neuroradiology examinations, including brain, head and neck, and spine imaging
  • Teach and mentor residents and fellows in neuroradiology
  • Contribute to the department's research efforts, including designing and implementing studies, analyzing data, and publishing results
  • Participate in departmental and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • MD degree or equivalent
  • Board eligible or certified in radiology
  • Eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited diagnostic radiology residency
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology or equivalent experience
