About the Role

We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Care Team Specialist I. As a key member of our ministry, you will provide spiritual support to individuals through phone, email, and social media. This role requires a deep passion for serving others and a strong understanding of the Bible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer pastoral phone calls and complete initial intake and assessment.
  • Provide crisis call screening and follow-up to all incoming communication channels, working closely with the ministry pastoral team.
  • Pray with callers without counseling, advising, or rebuking.
  • Provide caller resources and scripture to assist them in their situation.
  • Respond to email, social media, and other communication from listeners.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a prayer ministry or similar role.
  • Solid understanding of scripture and ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of God's word.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office products and social media platforms.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
