Fire Protection Systems Technician Trainee
BBSI is collaborating with a prominent full-service fire protection systems provider in Southern California, dedicated to delivering exceptional services across the region.
We are in search of a dedicated Fire Protection Systems Technician Trainee to assist foremen and team members in the installation of fire protection systems on a variety of construction projects, including renovations, new constructions, underground installations, and system upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the installation of fire protection systems.
- Comply with safety regulations and utilize necessary protective equipment.
- Adhere to company and industry standards.
- Engage in training sessions to improve safety knowledge.
- Demonstrate integrity and uphold company values.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience with fire protection systems.
- Basic mechanical and measurement skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fire codes.
- Experience in fabricating and securing pipes using hand tools.
- Familiarity with tools such as saws, drills, wrenches, and pipe threaders.
- Commitment to safety practices.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of NFPA13 standards (Preferred).
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification (Preferred).
- High School diploma or GED.
