Job Summary

As a Fire Sprinkler System Specialist at SSD Alarm, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service, testing, and repair of fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps, and associated equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your mechanical skills and experience in the industry to make a real difference in the safety and security of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping
  • Diagnose and evaluate systems which require servicing; troubleshoot issues that arise during inspection
  • Provide solutions and/or recommendations to bring systems back in operating working condition in the most beneficial way for the client
  • Complete all activities related to service and installation of fire protection systems
  • Complete fire sprinkler and pump testing documentation

Requirements:
  • State of California Sprinkler Fitter Card
  • Minimum of 7 years' industry experience inspecting and repairing fire sprinkler systems
  • Mechanically inclined with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and/or direct others as required
  • Ability to pass drug screen and background check
  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and safely climb ladders
  • The ability to respond quickly to dangerous situations
  • The ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces
