Job Summary

Residential Fire Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing weekly payroll, providing support to the accounting department, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly payroll, including data entry, calculations, uploads, and downloads
  • Provide support to the accounting department with accounts receivable, accounts payable, and collections
  • Organize and review customer files for proper documentation
  • Deliver prompt and professional solutions to customer inquiries and issues
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with customers and vendors
  • Research, prioritize, and resolve payroll and customer issues in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Track and follow-up on customer requests in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in payroll and general accounting is required
  • Experience in the residential construction industry is preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic devices and knowledge of software such as QuickBooks, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Dependable and reliable with a strong work ethic and high ethical standards
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus

Residential Fire Systems, Inc. is a subcontractor to the residential construction industry that designs, engineers, and installs fire sprinkler systems and fire alarm systems. We design and install these systems in Single Family Residential Tracts, in Multi-Family condominiums and apartments, and in Custom homes in the 6 counties of Southern California: Ventura, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and San Diego.
