Join a dynamic and innovative culinary establishment led by a renowned Korean American Chef-Owner, celebrated for excellence by prestigious organizations. This exciting dual-concept venue is designed to accommodate approximately 200 guests, offering a unique dining experience.

The establishment features two distinct concepts across different levels, focusing on high-quality Korean cuisine for a diverse clientele. The ground floor will present an alcohol-centric experience with premium cocktails and inventive bar fare, while the basement will offer a full-service Korean dining experience specializing in seafood and barbeque.

We are seeking a dedicated General Manager to lead our enthusiastic team. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the Chef & Owner and oversight of our front-of-house team. This position offers significant opportunities for professional growth as we aim to expand our restaurant concepts.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years in a high-volume, concept-driven restaurant environment, preferably with experience in hosting private events.
  • Proven track record in launching new restaurant concepts, team building, and establishing front-of-house and human resources systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong passion and knowledge of Asian and Korean culinary traditions, beverages, and culture.
  • Exceptional communication and team management abilities.
  • Experience in developing sophisticated beverage programs, including cocktails and wine selections, is advantageous.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
  • Proficient in standard restaurant management software (e.g., Toast POS/Payroll, Excel, Quickbooks, Resy, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth functioning.
  • Demonstrate exemplary hospitality; inspire and guide our team to deliver an outstanding guest experience.
  • Manage inventory (beverages, glassware, silverware, etc.) and foster strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Handle restaurant operations communications.
  • Supervise weekly payroll and cash reconciliation processes.
  • Lead the creation and execution of effective front-of-house systems and protocols.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment by adhering to health department regulations and restaurant standards.
  • Participate in weekly leadership meetings.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop strategies for managing restaurant finances, including food and beverage and labor costs.
