Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and impact of HR systems and processes. This position involves addressing challenges, implementing enhancements, and integrating new technologies. The incumbent will significantly influence various HR functions within the organization, encompassing HRIS management, reporting, external payroll assistance, benefits management, and the formulation and execution of policies, procedures, and special initiatives. A hybrid work model of 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remote is encouraged.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs, oversees, and recommends best practices concerning HR systems and operations across multiple sites.
  • Ensures that all personnel information is current, consistent across all locations, and regularly monitored for precision.
  • Offers technical support and guidance to the HR Team and other HR system users, resolving inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Creates and evaluates reports and dashboards, delivering insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
  • Participates in a diverse range of HR Projects while staying informed on the latest trends in HR systems, processes, and practices, assessing and proposing new solutions and best practices.
  • Oversees HRIS configuration, security, data management, reporting, and auditing processes.
  • Develops and maintains documentation, policies, and procedures for core HR systems, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
  • Leads benefits management, including the annual renewal process, invoice audits, and employee communications coordination.
  • Acts as the primary liaison to outsourced payroll, tax, and HR software vendors.
  • Manages the administration of leave of absence requests.
  • Fosters strong, trusting relationships with all organizational levels to achieve favorable outcomes.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment and labor laws and regulations.
  • Performs additional duties as required by business needs.
  • Possesses over 8 years of experience managing HR systems and processes, ideally within a manufacturing context.
  • Demonstrates a broad range of experience across all HR domains, including benefits, policies, compliance, employee relations, and vendor management.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop reporting systems, analyze data, and propose effective solutions.
  • Holds solid business acumen and the capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with individuals at all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications, particularly Excel.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, HR, or Management is preferred but not mandatory.
