Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications to clients
  • Assist clients with mobility and transportation for appointments or outings
  • Support clients with personal hygiene and grooming
  • Facilitate physical therapy exercises as directed
  • Accompany clients during shopping trips or handle shopping tasks
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation
  • Gather and relay information regarding clients' conditions and treatment plans
  • Notify healthcare professionals and family members of any unusual occurrences
  • Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations

Qualifications:

  • Ability to operate a hoyer lift
  • Proficient in using a sliding board
  • Prior experience in caregiving roles
  • Commitment to health and safety standards
  • Knowledge of cooking and housekeeping with consideration for dietary needs
  • Must demonstrate respect, compassion, and a strong bedside manner
  • Excellent communication, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform necessary tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
