Job Summary

At Venture Logistics, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Operations Coordinator to oversee our dedicated facility's returnable and yard operations. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills to interact with customer associates, driver associates, warehouse and management associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Freight Management: Manage inbound and outbound freight, including paperwork and coordination.
  • Inventory Control: Manage outbound freight and returns for Venture warehousing.
  • Communication: Be proactive in communication with the plant and personnel regarding issues and needs.
  • Reporting: Assist in reporting necessary for freight movement, identification, and tracking.
  • Team Management: May manage activities of plant loaders and/or spotters, and yard checks and foreign carrier inbound/outbound freight.
  • Attendance: Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Previous supervisory experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Transportation related fields.
  • Skills: Bilingual, SAP.
