Qualifications:

Experience with Vertex Tax software is essential.

Role Overview:

As a Vertex Tax and Oracle Cloud Implementation Consultant at Tek Ninjas, you will play a crucial role in the implementation and configuration of Oracle Financial and Vertex tax solutions for various legal entities.

Your primary objective will be to ensure successful implementations that align with our clients' tax and financial requirements.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and other team members to gather requirements, design tailored solutions, and provide ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implementation Planning: Collaborate with business units to understand their financial and tax needs, developing customized implementation plans.
  2. Configuration and Customization: Configure and tailor Oracle Finance modules and Vertex tax software to meet the specific tax requirements of each legal entity, including tax rules, rates, and exemptions.
  3. Integration: Ensure seamless integration of Vertex tax solutions with existing ERP or financial systems for both Use Tax and Sales Tax, facilitating accurate tax calculations.
  4. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct comprehensive testing of Oracle Cloud financial modules and Vertex tax implementations to guarantee accuracy and reliability, addressing any issues that arise.
  5. Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to business users on Oracle Cloud and Vertex tax software, addressing inquiries and concerns as they arise.
  6. Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation related to Oracle financials and Vertex tax implementations, including configuration guides and user manuals.
  7. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in Oracle Cloud and tax compliance, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.

Certifications in Vertex tax software and Oracle ERP Financial Modules (AP, AR, GL, FA) are preferred.

Experience with Certificate Exemption processes and configuration in Vertex O.

A background in consulting or professional services is advantageous.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax technology implementation, focusing on Vertex tax solutions for various legal entities.

Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, particularly in sales and use tax.

5+ years of experience with Oracle ERP cloud financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and Projects.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with business and internal teams.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.
