At HotRun Inc., we are seeking a skilled Automation Engineering Specialist to join our team. This is a highly technical role that requires expertise in automation, electrical and mechanical design, and fabrication.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering technology, automation, or manufacturing, with at least 3 years of experience in related fields. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated systems and processes, as well as providing technical support and training to production staff.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for automation and process improvement, we encourage you to apply.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing automated systems and processes
  • Providing technical support and training to production staff
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing automated systems
  • Evaluating and selecting outside vendors for design, machining, and fabrication of tooling and systems

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • AS or BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Automation, or Manufacturing
  • Minimum 3 years experience in related fields
  • Strong knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC programming and logic
  • Experience with robotics, industrial sensors, and pneumatic systems
