Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex engineering analyses of the New England transmission grid, including power flow, economic capacity expansion, and probabilistic modeling.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to streamline data collection and reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to internal stakeholders on transmission network and interconnection-related issues.
  • Represent Eversource on regional and national advisory committees, advocating for our interests and shaping industry policy.
  • Lead teams of internal stakeholders to develop and implement strategic initiatives, driving business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required; Master's degree in engineering preferred.
  • 5-8 years of related experience, with a strong understanding of ISO/RTO processes and rules.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong team building and leadership skills, with the ability to drive consensus and collaboration.
