Position Overview

Role Summary:

The Senior Audit and Assurance Accountant will be responsible for executing comprehensive audits and assurance services tailored to the unique requirements of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews, compilations, and audits, alongside extensive research.
  • Formulate customized audit plans that align with the specific needs of each client.
  • Oversee all phases of the audit process, from initial planning through to fieldwork and final completion.
  • Prepare and meticulously review financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP, including necessary documentation, validation, and testing.
  • Guide and evaluate the work produced by junior staff accountants.
  • Maintain a strong client-centric approach, responding promptly to client inquiries and fostering collaborative relationships with both clients and the assurance team.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in general financial accounting and cost accounting principles.
  • Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and their application.
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with proficient report writing capabilities.
  • Experience in managing multiple audit engagements concurrently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in public accounting and financial reporting.
  • Strong academic foundation and ethical standards.
  • Self-motivated with a commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
