Job Title: Security Specialist

At Reailize, a B-Yond company, we are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential security threats to our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Penetration Testing: Utilize your expertise to simulate cyber attacks on our systems and applications to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
  • Internal Bug Bounties: Collaborate with our development teams to discover and address security flaws in our software.
  • Security Measures: Implement and maintain security protocols for our API and microservice architecture to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with our development teams to integrate security best practices into our software development lifecycle.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches in a timely and effective manner.
  • Security Policies: Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Security Assessments: Conduct regular security assessments and audits to ensure our systems and applications meet industry standards and regulations.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Penetration Testing Experience: Proven experience in conducting penetration testing and internal bug bounties.
  • API and Microservice Architecture: Strong understanding of API and microservice architecture and its security implications.
  • Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices and standards, including OWASP and NIST.
  • Security Tools and Technologies: Experience with security tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Cloud Security: Familiarity with cloud security, including AWS and Azure.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate security threats.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CEH, and OSCP, are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • DevSecOps Experience: Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
  • Secure Coding Practices: Knowledge of secure coding practices and code review.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment: Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment.
  • Staying Updated: Ability to stay updated with the latest security trends and threats.
