Position Overview: Are you an enthusiastic expert eager to make a difference? We are on the lookout for a Traffic Engineering Specialist to enhance our team. In this role, you will collaborate across various disciplines to provide exceptional services and products to our clientele. Core Responsibilities:
- Lead traffic engineering projects, encompassing signal design, intersection layouts, ADA-compliant ramps, and more.
- Utilize industry-standard software to craft innovative solutions for traffic-related challenges.
- Develop design concepts, conduct data analysis, and prepare detailed plans and cost estimates.
- Design construction phases and traffic management strategies to ensure project safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with diverse teams to deliver high-quality solutions that align with client expectations.
- Engage in client relations and contribute to proposal development for business expansion.
- Assist in report writing and documentation to effectively communicate project results.
- Bachelor's degree in civil or transportation engineering from an accredited institution.
- Colorado PE license with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering.
- Experience in multimodal transportation and sustainable street initiatives.
- Interest in pursuing PTOE certification or currently possess one.
- Strong local connections with traffic engineers and clients.
- Dedication to multimodal transportation planning and design.
- Expertise in traffic signal design, alternative intersection concepts, and related areas.
- Proficient in plan preparation, traffic control design, and construction phasing.
