Job Description:

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. This includes managing project schedules, budgets, and resources, as well as ensuring compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.

  • Manage construction projects from start to finish.
  • Estimate project costs using Egordian software.
  • Coordinate with customers to provide a complete project scope.
  • Perform key roles in project planning, budgeting, and identifying needed resources.
  • Create project teams, develop team member objectives, and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Manage project accounting functions, including budgeting, tracking team expenses, and minimizing exposure and risk.
  • Ensure construction activities proceed according to a predetermined schedule.
  • Develop project work plans and make revisions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing project phases.
  • Coordinate efforts of all parties involved in the project, including architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and laborers.
  • Monitor project progress regularly and hold regular status meetings with subcontractors and owner representatives.
  • Maintain strict adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards.
  • Perform periodic inspections of construction sites.
  • Ensure project documents are complete.
  • Identify potential project design and construction issues.

Required Skills:

Must have a good management and leadership background in federal contracts and/or public/private work infrastructure with excellent interpersonal communication skills. Should possess self-confidence and the ability to reason and solve problems. Must be computer proficient in all areas of Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). General office demands. Must be in good physical condition and able to travel as required. Must have the ability to maintain assigned work hours. Must have sufficient endurance to perform tasks over long periods.

Supervises project staff as assigned, responsible for contract performance, safety, and quality at the site.

Required Experience:

  • PMP Certification: 10 years' experience, including 7 years of supervisory responsibility.
  • A four-year bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management is required.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in construction projects.
  • Excellent communication skills. Good understanding of MEP building systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of legal issues and safety standards is essential.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office (Word and Excel) are required.
  • Experience with Government contracts.
