Cultural Arts Facilities Manager

The Lyric Theatre & Cultural Arts Center seeks an experienced Cultural Arts Facilities Manager to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our historic theatre and cultural arts center, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of events and programming.
About the PositionThis is a multifaceted role that requires strong organizational and leadership skills, as well as expertise in facilities management, logistics, and event coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing venue space rentals, scheduling events, and overseeing maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing venue space rentals and scheduling events
- Coordinating with event staff on performance, visual, and cultural arts events
- Overseeing general logistical work and maintenance for efficient facility operation
- Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices
- Monitoring, planning, inventorying, and purchasing materials with executive director approval with cost-effective efficiency
- Helping the organization's processes remain legally compliant
- Formulating strategic and operational objectives with defined outcomes
- Examining financial data and using it to improve profitability and efficiency
- Assisting executive director budgets and forecast management and submitting regular financial and budget reports to the executive director
- Performing quality controls for inventory, ticketing, and financial transactions supported with regular reports to the executive director
- Training and supervising event staff
- Collaborating with technical staff on needs for venue events
- Finding ways to increase the quality of customer service
Requirements:
- High School Graduate, GED, or Equivalent - BA/College Graduate strongly preferred
- A degree in Business, Accounting, Operations Management, Arts Administration, or related field is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, logistics management, facilities management or related field
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite apps for business
- 5+ years of sales/customer service experience
- Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations and facilities management experience
- Experience budgeting and forecasting
- Familiarity with business and financial principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership ability
- Must have Managerial experience a must
- Must have Outstanding organizational skills
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year based on location and experience.
