We are seeking a Field Technician III to join our team for a Phase III mitigation project in central Kentucky.
Job Overview- The Field Technician position will be under the direction of Staff Archaeologists and Principal Investigators.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in anthropology and completion of an archaeological field school, with preference given to those with historic archaeological field experience.
Responsibilities- Assist in activities associated with excavation of test units and features, screening, backfilling excavated areas, and cleaning/packaging/labeling archaeological artifacts.
The hourly pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.25, with per diem ($46 per day) issued either daily or weekly, and single occupancy lodging provided.

Requirements- A bachelor's degree in anthropology and completion of an archaeological field school.
- One year of experience as a field technician preferred.
- Must be able to work in variable field and weather conditions, be physically fit, and navigate efficiently in remote areas.
- Must possess problem-solving skills to identify problems, develop options, and implement solutions.
