Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified individual to teach graduate courses that apply quantitative methods in social sciences, business, or digital humanities for the interdisciplinary studies graduate degree/concentration. The successful candidate will have a strong concentration in a field applying quantitative methods, such as Data Analytics/Science, Economics, Digital Humanities, Operations Research, Technical Communication, Decision Sciences, Quantitative Social Science, or other relevant disciplines.
Responsibilities- Teach a course load of 3-4 courses per semester, with the potential for course load reduction for scholarly and professional activities, program advising, course development, program development or other professional development and service activities.
- Develop and teach graduate courses that apply quantitative methods in social sciences, business, or digital humanities for the interdisciplinary studies graduate degree/concentration.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Interdisciplinary Studies program, including curriculum development and program assessment.
- Collaborate with industry managers/executives and other stakeholders to develop and implement innovative programs and services.
- Terminal degree and strong concentration in a field applying quantitative methods, such as Data Analytics/Science, Economics, Digital Humanities, Operations Research, Technical Communication, Decision Sciences, Quantitative Social Science, or other relevant disciplines.
- Preference will be given to applicants applying analytic methods in business, government, or science settings and to applicants with an interdisciplinary academic background.
