Job Details

This Personal Care and Support Associate position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities. As a Personal Care and Support Associate, you will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, providing essential support with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.

You will also be responsible for monitoring patient safety, reporting any concerns or issues to your supervisor, and participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Monitor patient safety and report any concerns or issues to your supervisor
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Requirements:

  • Active certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in North Carolina
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1+ year of experience working in a home healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
