The University of Wisconsin Department of Family Medicine is seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine physician to join our team as a residency faculty member at UW Health. This is an exciting opportunity to practice full-spectrum family medicine in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care to patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on maternity care.
- Teach and supervise residents, medical students, and other learners in both clinical and formal learning settings.
- Participate in scholarly work and academic activities, with opportunities for collaboration with other departments and institutions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and curricula.
- Engage in departmental and campus-wide initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts.
- MD/DO or equivalent degree.
- Wisconsin medical licensure required prior to start date.
- Certification by or eligible for certification by American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP).
- Successful completion of a fully accredited Family Medicine Residency Program.
