About the Role

The University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist Level III to join our team. As a key member of the surgical team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective conduct of invasive and non-invasive surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgeon and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment.
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring that all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in the training and onboarding of new surgical technologists and students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent and/or graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred.
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support certificate required.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
