Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis, IN. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Outpatient team, you will provide high-quality behavioral health counseling services to patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
  • Administer individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records of patient observations.
  • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.
  • Provide patients with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
  • Collaborate with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from initiation to discharge.
Requirements
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    • One or more of the following required:
    • Licensed Counselor specializing in Clinical Addiction credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.
    • Licensed Counselor specializing in Mental Health credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.
    • Licensed Social Worker specializing in Clinical Practice credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.
    • Licensed Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board.
  • Education:
    • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or another related field.
  • Full clinical license (LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW).
  • Crisis intervention experience preferred.
