Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Wilmington, MA. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will exercise your mechanical design experience in an energetic and progressive consulting environment, leading the development of new technologies and bringing new products to market.
Key Responsibilities- Lead technical contributions in product design and development
- Communicate effectively with clients and project stakeholders
- Manage project scope and timelines
- Coach and mentor junior engineers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including scientists, electrical engineers, optical engineers, manufacturing partners, and industrial designers
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- 6-10 years of industry experience
- Broad technical background and the desire to learn more
- 3D CAD experience (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with a range of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, casting, etc.)
- Experience designing biomedical products or industrial automation a plus
- Experience in consulting is a plus
