Position Summary

Are you skilled in developing and executing creative and strategic marketing initiatives? We are looking for a District Marketing Manager to oversee multiple accounts within our division, guiding unit directors, marketing coordinators, and interns in implementing Chartwells brand standards and field marketing strategies. This role is crucial in supporting division growth, retention, and innovation efforts.

With Chartwells' rapid expansion, there are significant opportunities for professional advancement and the chance to make a direct impact on our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist units in executing marketing campaigns, meal plan promotions, catering, and retail sales strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with Chartwells' brand standards across residential, retail, and catering services, focusing on brand identity and customer experience.
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders to enhance partnerships and promote awareness of dining services, including sustainability and nutritional programs.
  • Guide accounts in organizing events and collecting guest feedback.
  • Create marketing materials and communications, such as brochures, newsletters, and promotional guides.
  • Support new business initiatives and retention strategies, including guest feedback and proposal development.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of sector marketing and innovation projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in marketing management, preferably in contract foodservice.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence without direct authority and uphold high standards across the field.
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of addressing diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong writing abilities to develop and maintain brand materials.
  • Basic understanding of financial aspects of contract foodservice, including revenue, margins, and costs.
  • This role may require extensive travel within the NY metro area and occasional overnight trips.
