Product Engineer II Job Description

Niagara Bottling is seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer II to join our team. As a Product Engineer II, you will be responsible for leading projects ranging from new package development to engineering design retrofits for beverage processing and filling lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee activities in the New Product Development (NPD) process and drive timely completion of all deliverables leading to the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.
  • Lead scope definition, capital budgeting, and project commercialization timeline across all business units with support from subject matter experts.
  • Escalate new project scenarios and change requests for review, communicate project scope concisely to cross-functional teams to drive alignment.
  • Manage project milestones by maintaining project charter, timeline, risk management logs, etc.
  • Collaborate closely with Procurement, Sales, Project Management, Engineering Design, Beverage Development, Product Lifecycle Management, etc.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in Beverage Manufacturing, CPG, or other related industries.
  • 2-4 years of experience in Product Development or other related field.
  • Strong organization, communication, and attention to detail skills required.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio).
  • Good technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks with routine guidance from senior team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of experience in Beverage Manufacturing/Engineering environment.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Product Development or other related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification or CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) Certification.
Education:
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Product Design, Business, and other related fields or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, Product Design.
