Security Officer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding DOE property and assets. As a Security Police Officer, you will participate in self-assessments and workgroups, maintain security qualifications, and perform essential job responsibilities such as revising security program plans and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Revising security program plans and procedures
- Participating in self-assessments and working groups
- Maintaining Security Police Officer qualifications
- Performing Security Police Officer functions as necessary
- Performing other security duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Candidates must possess an Active 'L' or 'Secret' Security clearance
- A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required
- Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment medical evaluation and pass a strenuous physical agility test
