Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be responsible for safeguarding DOE property and assets. As a Security Police Officer, you will participate in self-assessments and workgroups, maintain security qualifications, and perform essential job responsibilities such as revising security program plans and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Revising security program plans and procedures
  • Participating in self-assessments and working groups
  • Maintaining Security Police Officer qualifications
  • Performing Security Police Officer functions as necessary
  • Performing other security duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Candidates must possess an Active 'L' or 'Secret' Security clearance
  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment medical evaluation and pass a strenuous physical agility test
