Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance inspections, diagnose and repair issues with diesel vehicles
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and address problems with vehicle components
  • Conduct quality checks on vehicles before returning them to service
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely repairs
  • Collaborate with drivers to understand the nature of complaints and assign tasks
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, including safety and DOT guidelines

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or technician
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, welding, and diesel truck maintenance
  • CDL A or B is a plus, but not required
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States
