Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Technician

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Northeast Asphalt, Inc. in Greenville, WI.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner. This includes conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts, and performing repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine machine or vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
  • Identify worn and damaged parts and recommend repairs
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance schedules and winterization procedures
  • Verify proper performance by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems
  • Comply with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of diesel engines and equipment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
