As an Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily activities to maintain our reputation as a reliable provider of aviation repair and maintenance services. Collaborate with your team to establish efficient processes and practices that enhance product quality and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations, allocate resources, authorize overtime, and monitor employee performance to meet key performance indicators.
  • Track daily throughput yields and make necessary adjustments to adhere to delivery timelines.
  • Collaborate with various departments, including finance and engineering, to ensure operational standards are met.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support the strategic objectives of the business unit.
  • Assist in capacity planning for equipment, workspace, and workforce based on projected workloads.
  • Solve problems independently, maximizing available resources and effectively communicating needs to achieve objectives.
  • Foster a team-oriented approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain performance metrics to visually represent strengths and weaknesses within the team.
  • Conduct necessary administrative tasks for effective cell management, including employee selection, safety oversight, and performance evaluations.
  • Participate in management teams to contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and goal setting.
  • Exercise authority in hiring, training, performance management, and employee relations for direct reports.
  • Undertake special projects as assigned and perform additional operational tasks as needed.

Skills Required:

  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Familiarity with current operating systems and production management software.
  • Knowledge of company policies, processes, and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent logistics and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documentation in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of standard inspection processes in the aviation sector.
  • Familiarity with the specific business segment.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting is highly desirable.
