Job Summary

Pioneer Cladding and Glazing Systems is seeking a skilled Drafting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings of building envelopes, fenestration, and other architectural elements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings, as well as project scope documents.
  • Apply basic engineering and architectural principles to generate shop and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD software.
  • Assist in the design of building envelopes, fenestration, and other interior and exterior architectural elements.
  • Revised redlined drawings and support Production Control and Shop personnel during the manufacturing of designed assemblies and components.
Requirements:
  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Design and Drafting (or related field) or a minimum of 2 years' drafting experience.
  • Strong drafting and mechanical drawing skills, with experience applying drafting standards.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Revit software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
