Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the field services team to create a schedule and facilitate the rollout of a virtual Windows 11 upgrade or a hardware refresh for users with incompatible machines.
  • Establish a shared document repository, gathering business requirements from various stakeholders including application services, infrastructure operations, desktop engineering, and information security.
  • Work closely with the desktop engineering lead to document testing scripts and criteria for success, ensuring test results are recorded in the shared repository.
  • Maintain a RAID log and guide go/no-go decisions.
  • Support Organizational Change Management (OCM) activities across service desk and tech support, ensuring effective communication with business users.
  • Direct project team members, manage costs and schedules, ensure compliance with contracts, and act as the primary interface with customers.
  • Oversee technical, financial, and scheduling aspects of assigned tasks.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills to engage multidisciplinary teams in addressing business needs for assigned projects.
  • Manage project teams that typically include multiple vendors with both onshore and offshore resources.
  • Create comprehensive project management plans, set clear expectations, conduct governance reviews, and ensure adherence to organizational procedures.
  • Ensure requirements are collected, documented, reviewed, and approved according to organizational standards.
  • Provide high-quality written and verbal project communications, including weekly updates and dashboards.
  • Actively monitor and manage project tasks, timelines, milestones, and overall quality of project deliverables, providing forecasts and accruals as needed.

Required Education & Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 6+ years of robust Project Management experience.
  • Prior experience with Windows Upgrade projects.
  • In-depth experience managing project financials, schedules, scope, and testing, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of Project Management principles and Project Management Office (PMO) standards.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain relationships and partnerships.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision while effectively collaborating within a team environment.
  • Excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Strong research, decision-making, and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to data protection guidelines.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in the utility sector is preferred.
