Supporting Military Families through Counseling and Consultation

Leidos is seeking licensed behavioral health professionals to join our Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) Child and Youth Behavioral team. As a CYB-MFLC, you will provide non-medical support to eligible faculty, staff, parents, children, and youth at East and West Elementary school at Mountain Home Air Force Base.

This is a 9-month school calendar position that aligns with the school's schedule. You will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of military families as they navigate the challenges of military life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide counseling, consultation, and outreach services to military youth and families.
  • Develop and implement social skills development and social emotional learning programs.
  • Collaborate with school staff and parents to support the academic and emotional well-being of military youth.
  • Participate in regular in-service training and contract activities to stay up-to-date on best practices.

Requirements:
  • A master's degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions.
  • A valid independent license in the mental health field from any US state or territory.
  • A U.S. citizen with an active passport.
