Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to patients and healthcare providers in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inbound and outbound calls to address inquiries regarding medical benefits and insurance reimbursements.
  • Provide excellent support to patients and healthcare providers, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Utilize strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to empathy and patient care.
  • Familiarity with hospital billing procedures, ICD-10 codes, and insurance reimbursement processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare management software (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of medical insurance, benefits verification, and claims processing.
