Job Description

AECOM is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to work with engineering and science teams, leading tasks at remediation sites undergoing subsurface investigation and remediation of LNAPL, soil, and groundwater contamination.

Responsibilities include organizing, planning, and executing tasks related to remediation systems engineering design, operations, maintenance, and monitoring; modeling and analysis of subsurface conditions and remediation performance; interfacing and writing reports to clients and regulatory agencies.

This position involves a combination of office and field work to support projects. We seek a technically proficient individual with engineering experience who can communicate project methods and results in a clear, concise manner.

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience
  • Strong technical and business writing skills
  • Commitment to personal safety and safety and health of team members
  • Project experience working with private sector clients, state and local clients, and/or federal and DOD clients
