About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hybrid Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and procedures.
  • Inspect completed installations and observe operations to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
  • Plan and implement research methodology and procedures to apply principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.
  • Prepare specifications for the purchase of materials and equipment.
  • Oversee project production efforts to assure projects are completed satisfactorily, on time, and within budget.
  • Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Investigate and test vendors' and competitors' products.
  • Perform the revit design process.
  • Prepare documents for LEED certification.
  • Coordinate with other professionals, such as contractors, architects, engineers, and planners, to ensure job success.
  • Innovate and introduce new techniques and technologies for new and existing products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Engineering industry.
  • Proven experience with the revit design process and project production process.
  • Strong understanding of electrical lighting and power.
  • Experience in preparing documents for LEED certification.
  • Strong problem-solving, technical, math, and scientific skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with other team members.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in design and calculation software.
  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent knowledge of safety standards.
  • Ability to analyze electrical system data and improve design and efficiency.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.
