Position Overview:

As the Culinary Operations Supervisor, you will be a vital partner to our Chef/Owner, playing an essential role in managing kitchen activities, guiding our culinary staff, and producing outstanding dishes for our catered events. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Effectively lead and motivate a team of cooks during preparation and event days. Set a positive example, fostering teamwork, discipline, and a commitment to excellence.
  • Training & Development: Educate, inspire, and mentor kitchen personnel, ensuring they are well-equipped and consistently enhancing their skills. Provide daily constructive feedback and guidance.
  • Operational Management: Develop and adhere to detailed task lists, manage station checkouts, and efficiently tackle operational challenges. Ensure consistency in recipe execution and uphold high culinary standards.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with the Chef/Owner to identify areas for improvement, communicate needs, and address any concerns. Actively participate in the development and execution of innovative dishes.
  • Quality Assurance: Supervise all aspects of food preparation, ensuring that every dish is crafted to perfection, reflecting our dedication to quality ingredients and scratch cooking.
