We are in search of a dedicated and results-driven individual to become a vital part of our trim and packaging division. The Extract Trim and Packaging Specialist plays a crucial role in executing production strategies in alignment with the Company's operational guidelines. This position encompasses the daily responsibilities associated with the medical Cannabis production cycle.
Key Responsibilities

- Possess foundational knowledge and the ability to learn about harvesting fresh frozen, shucking dried and cured materials, jarring extracts, applying labels, and packaging derivative products, including flower as necessary.
- Regularly perform tasks in extract trim and packaging areas, such as detaching buds from stalks, visually inspecting the buds, hand trimming, conducting daily cleaning duties, and maintaining basic records.
- Accurately weigh products.
- Label jars, boxes, and mylar bags appropriately.
- Package products into jars, boxes, and mylar bags efficiently.
- Understand and implement state regulations, policies, and procedures; a commitment to enhancing knowledge of the industry and legal framework is valued.
- Analyze potential issues with plants or processed products.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
- Adhere to Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comply with all safety protocols.
- Learn and apply safe and effective commercial marijuana processing techniques.
- Complete assigned tasks within established timeframes.
- Be willing to undertake additional duties as assigned.
- Exhibit the physical capability and health necessary for manual labor tasks required in extraction areas and cultivation facilities.

This position operates within a cGMP inspected manufacturing facility. Employees are required to use gloves and scissors, and to wear coveralls, hairnets, and other personal protective equipment (PPE), including face covers when necessary. This role may involve extended hours and weekend work opportunities.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this position, employees are regularly required to communicate effectively. This role frequently necessitates standing, walking, using hands or feet, reaching with hands and arms, and may require lifting a minimum of 50 pounds.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time role that regularly requires long hours and may involve frequent weekend work.
Travel:
This position does not entail travel.
