Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Medical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our emergency veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our veterinarians and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care, including administering medications, performing medical procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Work closely with our veterinarians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  • Collaborate with other support staff to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and compassionate information about their pets' care and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest veterinary medical advancements and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Credentialed veterinary technician with strong technical skills and a passion for veterinary medicine.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, veterinarians, and other support staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency veterinary environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and exceptional client service.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and training, with a desire to stay current on the latest veterinary medical advancements and best practices.
