ROLE SUMMARY:
Execute a diverse range of tasks as directed, including the preparation and assembly of vehicle components, sub-systems, and parts.

Integrate subsystems, components, and parts into vehicles on a continuous assembly line while conducting inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

The following section details the core responsibilities of the assembler role. Operators must be capable of performing these duties, with or without reasonable accommodations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Tasks and Duties:
Safely operate various tools, including power tools, hoists, and manufacturing equipment.

Maintain a steady work pace throughout the shift with an emphasis on quality (i.e., adhering to applicable quality standards).

Ensure consistent and reliable attendance.

Accurately complete necessary documentation for production records.

Ability to read, comprehend, and follow established procedures and guidelines.

Strictly adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform tasks assigned by Supervisor and/or Group Leader.

Work overtime as required by production demands.

Qualifications & Skills:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Basic computer literacy is required.

Must be able to read, understand, and communicate effectively in English.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.

Capability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat.

Stand and walk for up to eight hours daily and reach overhead continuously.

Utilize air/power/vibrating tools and perform strong pincher gripping.

Work safely around moving machinery, power tools, and industrial vehicles.

Repetitive use of upper extremities may be required.

May need to perform any of these functions for up to twelve hours a day.

PRE-HIRE TRAINING:
We have collaborated with the Alabama Department of Commerce to create a tailored training program for candidates seeking employment with Polaris. All candidates for hourly positions in our manufacturing operations must participate in this training with AIDT.

Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $22.79
