Job Summary

A leading company in the manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced PLC Programmer to join their team in Lakeland, FL. As a key member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for programming and maintaining industrial control systems, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and maintain PLCs, SCADA systems, and other industrial control systems
  • Design, build, and test electrical systems, including motor controllers and AC/DC drives
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure production goals are met
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and industrial control systems
  • Proficiency in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC programming
  • Working knowledge of AC and DC drives, motor controllers, and electrical systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
