Job Summary:

As an Electrical Instrumentation Specialist at Allied Reliability, you will be responsible for leading and assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plant electrical equipment. You will work from engineering drawings, electrical diagrams, and verbal field instructions to perform assigned duties. Your expertise will be required to design and implement modifications to existing equipment or systems under development. You will also be responsible for updating drawings or documentation as required. Additionally, you will perform standard electrical work, including soldering, predictive maintenance, and running conduit. You will analyze, troubleshoot, and perform maintenance/repairs of all plant electrical systems, including programmable controllers, air conditioning, combustion systems, and more. You will diagnose and ensure correction of complex electrical/instrumentation/control problems. You will also be responsible for completing records, reports, and job summaries, as well as updating SAP duties. You will perform inventory and cataloging of spare parts, assist in maintaining electrical supplies, and actively participate in safety, communication, and continuous improvement programs. You will also perform other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Process control and HMI ownership (new development limited scope)
Owner of all PLC's, panel views, drives/software programs, organization, etc.
Owner of PC's that drive production and maintenance equipment
Onspec/Ignition ownership
PLC programming
Panel View Programming
Drive Configuration/Troubleshooting
Owner/Expert of all plant medium voltage equipment. Execution of substation maintenance.
Includes transformer cleaning testing, 12kv switch cleaning testing, circuit breaker testing. Organization with SVP contractors, etc.
