**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Admissions Clerk at Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation. In this role, you will be responsible for performing registration, admission, and scheduling functions for all inpatient and outpatient services provided by our organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Collect, update, and input patient demographics, history, and insurance information into our computer repository.
- Maintain or establish patient eligibility and primary provider on all patient encounters.
- Ensure appointment times are timely and communicate with clinics regarding patient appointment and registration status.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer literacy required.
- One year of office experience.
- One year in a customer service position.
- One year of experience with IBM or compatible computer systems.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Type 40 words per minute and have 10-key experience.
- Experience working with Medicaid or commercial insurance is preferred.
- Held a job for a minimum of one year continuously.
- Yup'ik speaker is preferred.
