POSITION SUMMARY

We are in search of a Customer Programs Manager who will serve as the key liaison between our organization and our clients, effectively overseeing assigned contracts by guiding cross-functional teams through the pre-production, bus assembly, and acceptance phases. This role is crucial in fostering enduring business relationships built on trust and confidence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comprehend the complete requirements of each assigned customer contract.
  • Formulate a project plan, establish timelines, and monitor progress against the plan.
  • Provide daily operational direction to various departments regarding contract completion from initial strategy to post-delivery.
  • Identify and resolve project challenges that may emerge while managing critical timelines.
  • Conduct weekly project meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, documenting and distributing minutes that include actions, responsible parties, and deadlines.
  • Ensure alignment of the contract with both the customer and internal stakeholders concerning bus and contract deliverables.
  • Complete all necessary project documentation, particularly updates on project milestones and weekly Executive Operations meetings.
  • Adhere to key controls in support of compliance with financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with customers to finalize bus configurations and work closely with Field Services until the final acceptance of the bus.
  • Engage in the meaningful development of personal Management by Objectives (MBO) criteria and execute your responsibilities to meet these goals.
  • Operate within established policies and processes to ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including Quality, Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for process enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • Mid-level professional with over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or customer-focused environment.
  • Previous Project Management experience in a manufacturing setting and/or a PMP Certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional computer and organizational abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a strong motivation to complete tasks within designated timelines.
  • Proficient in presenting information in a professional manner, both in writing and verbally.
  • Able to work independently with the initiative to seek improvements.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
