Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catholic Music Director to join our team at Ladgov Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional-level accompaniment, cantoring, and choir leadership for various Catholic liturgical services.
  • Serve as a Musician and provide piano or organ accompanist support for weddings, funerals, and other special events.
  • Plan, organize, lead, and support Catholic music ensembles, including children's choirs and bell choirs.
  • Establish a regular schedule of work and be present during rehearsals, worship services, and other musical programs, including evening and weekend hours.
  • Lead and execute choir rehearsals, maintain music libraries, and select liturgically appropriate music for Masses.
  • Participate in worship services, including singing and leading Psalm responses, Gloria, Preface, Eucharistic Prayer, and common Latin sung responses.

Requirements:

  • At least four (4) years of experience as a church accompanist/choir musician/cantor/musician for Catholic liturgical services.
  • Industry standard competence in playing both traditional and contemporary music, reading music, and leading congregational singing.
  • Possess music skills equivalent to a bachelor's degree in music or music-related field.
